Description
The grey crested tit or grey-crested tit (Lophophanes dichrous) is a species of bird in the family Paridae. It is found in the Himalayan foothills and southern-central China. Its natural habitats are temperate forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Feeding Habits
Grey-crested Tit primarily consumes invertebrates and larvae, often foraging in pairs or small groups. Grey-crested Tit may join mixed-species flocks, searching for food in forest mid-lower levels, undergrowth, shrubs, and occasionally on the ground, especially in winter under dwarf rhododendrons and birch scrub.
Habitat
The grey-crested Tit inhabits forests within the broader Himalayan region, favoring environments dominated by oak and rhododendron broadleaf forests, as well as mixed forests comprising fir, hemlock, pine, spruce, birch, and in some areas, bamboo and hydrangea.
