Description
The striolated manakin is 9–9.5 cm (3.5–3.7 in) in length and weighs around 9.4 g (0.33 oz). The male of the nominate race is olive green above with a red crown and nape. The underparts are streaked redish and white. The throat is whitish. The female lacks the red crown.
