Habitat
Southern Nightingale-wren is typically found in the lower strata of dense, humid tropical forests across broad geographical regions of Central and South America. These environments provide the necessary cover and moisture for southern Nightingale-wren, varying in elevation from sea level up to 1800 meters and even reaching 3100 meters in some exceptional areas. Primary regions include tropical zones where lush forest landscapes are prevalent, accommodating the species' habitat preferences and requirements.
