The ringed warbling finch (Microspingus torquatus) is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, and Paraguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland.

The ringed Warbling Finch thrives in a variety of dry to semi-humid environments, primarily inhabiting open Andean dry forests, chaco thorn-forests, and the Monte Desert, which includes shrublands and open woodlands. These finches are commonly found on sandy soils and often reside in secondary scrubs or degraded open areas with Dodonaea vegetation. They also adapt to arid slopes in intermontane valleys, and some may occupy open Polylepis woodlands.
