Description
The golden myna (Mino anais) is a species of starling in the family Sturnidae. It is found in New Guinea. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest.

Feeding Habits
Golden Myna largely consumes fruit, foraging predominantly in the upper canopy. Typically seen in pairs or small flocks, golden Myna may also mingle with M. dumontii groups during feeding.
Habitat
The habitat of golden Myna is typified by lowland forests, which include regions with monsoon forest characteristics. These birds are adaptable to a variety of forested environments ranging from dense forest interiors to forest edges and even areas undergoing partial clearance, as long as tall trees are preserved within the landscape.
