Habitat
The habitat of thrush-like Antpitta encompasses humid lowland rainforests and foothill regions, particularly favoring areas with a dense understory such as those around treefalls, regenerating clearings, and road edges. Thrush-like Antpitta shows a strong preference for swampy locales and the vegetated zones adjacent to watercourses, which are often chosen as nesting sites. Its distribution spans broad geographic tropical regions, thriving primarily in the lower foothill areas where these environmental conditions are prevalent.
