Description
The Sulawesi myzomela (Myzomela chloroptera) is a species of bird in the family Meliphagidae. It is endemic to Indonesia where it occurs in Sulawesi, Taliabu, Selayar and Tanah Jampea. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

Sulawesi Myzomela primarily consumes nectar, often foraging in flowering trees, mistletoes, and shrubs. Typically seen alone, in pairs, or small flocks, sometimes joining mixed-species groups for feeding.
Habitat
The sulawesi Myzomela typically inhabits primary montane forests and tall secondary forests, which may include moss forests and, less frequently, mangroves. It is also found in selectively logged areas and degraded forests.
