Feeding Habits
Hume's Wheatear primarily feeds on invertebrates, such as beetles and ants, as well as small lizards, and seeds. Hume's Wheatear is territorial, defending its feeding grounds year-round.

The habitat of hume's Wheatear encompasses rocky desert mountainsides, steep valleys, and foothill slopes. This bird favors environments with significant geological features such as boulders and rubble, often near barren hills with minimal vegetation.
