Description
The slender-billed oriole (Oriolus tenuirostris) is a species of bird in the family Oriolidae found from the eastern Himalayas to Southeast Asia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

Slender-billed Oriole predominantly feed on fruits like figs and Trema orientalis, nectar from Salmalia and Erythrina, and insects. They forage alone or in pairs, usually high in trees, occasionally descending to ground for caterpillars.
Habitat
Slender-billed Oriole thrives in montane forest habitats, predominantly pine and mixed pine-oak forests, as well as dry semi-evergreen or evergreen broadleaf woodlands. Adapted to varied tree-rich environments, these birds frequent forest edges, bamboo thickets, and cultivated landscapes with scattered trees, including plantations and gardens. They display seasonal habitat shifts, descending to lower altitude open forests and secondary growths in non-breeding periods.
