Description
The bare-throated whistler (Pachycephala nudigula) is a species of bird in the family Pachycephalidae. It is endemic to the Lesser Sundas.

Habitat
Bare-throated Whistler resides primarily in subtropical or tropical forests, favoring a variety of forest types such as dry, moist lowland, and moist montane environments. These birds typically inhabit areas near rivers within primary forests, tall secondary moist hill forests, and casuarina forests with a well-preserved canopy, at altitudes of 200 to 2000 meters, often exceeding 1200 meters in mountain regions.
