Description
The rufous-naped greenlet (Pachysylvia semibrunnea) is a species of bird in the family Vireonidae. It is found in the Andes in Colombia, northern Ecuador, and westernmost Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and heavily degraded former forest.

The habitat of rufous-naped Greenlet is characterized by forested environments where it dwells within the midstory, subcanopy, and canopy layers. This bird species is commonly found in primary forests, forest edges, and secondary growth woodlands of the upper foothill and lower subtropical zones. Additionally, rufous-naped Greenlet adapts to anthropogenic landscapes, frequently residing in shade coffee plantations where they forage among arboreal vegetation such as Inga edulis trees.
