The rufous-fronted thornbird (Phacellodomus rufifrons) is a species of bird in the family Furnariidae.

Habitat
The rufous-fronted Thornbird typically inhabits dry, shrubby regions such as tropical and subtropical forests, savannas, and shrublands, including both lowland and high-altitude areas. These regions feature a mix of dense thickets and scattered trees, crucial for the rufous-fronted Thornbird's nesting habits. Adapted to arid conditions, they are found up to elevations of 1400 m and, in some places, up to 2000 m, favoring environments that range from arid montane scrub to deciduous forests and degraded lands.
