Description
The rufous-winged philentoma (Philentoma pyrhoptera) is a bird species. They are now usually assigned to the Vangidae. It is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

Feeding Habits
Rufous-winged Philentoma consumes small invertebrates, such as flies and wasps, typically foraging alone or in pairs within lower vegetation or on the ground, taking insects from branches rather than chasing in flight.
Habitat
The rufous-winged Philentoma is typically found in evergreen forests, with a substantial presence in mixed dipterocarp forests. It also inhabits peat swamp forests, areas of logged forest, and nearby rubber plantations. The species favors lower elevation forests but can be found in upland regions within broader tropical zones.
