Description
The buff-barred warbler (Phylloscopus pulcher) is a species of leaf warbler (family Phylloscopidae). It was formerly included in the "Old World warbler" assemblage. It is found in Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are boreal forests and temperate forests.

Feeding Habits
Buff-barred Warbler primarily consumes insects and occasionally nectar and tree sap. It forages alone or in pairs, joining mixed-species flocks in the non-breeding season, actively searching the upper canopy.
Habitat
The buff-barred Warbler mainly inhabits subalpine forests comprised of birch, juniper, oak, and rhododendron, as well as areas with dwarf juniper and rhododendron scrub above the tree line. During winter, the species descends to lower elevations, favoring oak and other evergreen deciduous forests.
