  The rufous-crowned antpitta or rufous-crowned gnatpitta (Pittasoma rufopileatum) is a species of bird in the gnateater family. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.

  The rufous-crowned Antpitta is typically found in the understory of humid lowland and foothill forests within the southern Chocó Endemic Bird Area. These forests are characterized by a generally wet climate, with dense vegetation that offers ample cover and feeding opportunities. The species' habitat preferences are considered to be similar to those of the closely related Black-crowned Antpitta.
