Feeding Habits
Crested Jayshrike has a varied diet, consuming mainly invertebrates like caterpillars, millipedes, cicadas, and beetles. Crested Jayshrike forages alone or in small groups, often in dense undergrowth, using its white neck and eye markings for group cohesion. Known for boldness, crested Jayshrike may approach humans while vocalizing and displaying its crest.
Habitat
The crested Jayshrike typically inhabits the dense lowland broadleaf forests and can also be found residing in hilly forest areas.
