Description
The vitelline masked weaver (Ploceus vitellinus) is a species of bird in the family Ploceidae. It is found in western, central and eastern Africa.

Feeding Habits
Vitelline Masked Weaver's diet mainly consists of seeds, insects, and nectar, particularly from Leonotis nepetifolia. They exhibit a unique behavior of biting off and mandibulating flowers to extract nectar, employing a prying bill action for foraging. Habitat
