Spotted Bamboowren predominantly consumes insects and larvae. They typically forage alone or in pairs, maintaining an average height of 2 meters but can ascend to 7 meters amidst dense vines. Their hunting behavior includes vigorous hopping across branches with a distinctive posture, marked by a lowered forebody and raised tail. Occasionally, spotted Bamboowren may feed on the ground.
