Description
The grey-headed parrotbill (Psittiparus gularis) is a parrotbill in the family Sylviidae and is found in eastern Asia from the Himalayas to Indochina and Hainan.

Feeding Habits
Grey-headed Parrotbill's diet consists of vegetable matter such as chestnuts, buds, and seeds, as well as insects and larvae. Grey-headed Parrotbill forages in groups, often participating in bird waves with other species. Adapted for arboreal feeding, grey-headed Parrotbill may pick and eat food like a tit, using feet for support.
Habitat
Grey-headed Parrotbill typically inhabits regions with broadleaf evergreen forests and areas experiencing secondary growth. Its preferred environments also include scrublands adjacent to forests, as well as bamboo thickets, grasslands, and scrub within pine forests. This species is found across a wide geographical range that encompasses parts of the Indian Subcontinent and Myanmar, extending to habitats in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and China.
