Habitat
Grey-headed Fruit Dove thrives mainly in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, including forest edges and secondary growth. This species adapts to a variety of woodland habitats like scattered trees in grasslands, lightly wooded cultivation, and mangroves, sometimes venturing close to human settlements. Typically residing in the lowlands, grey-headed Fruit Dove is also observed up to elevations of 1000 meters. Notably conspicuous and approachable, they can be spotted perching on exposed branches and even on phone wires during dawn and dusk.
