Feeding Habits
Bannerman's Shearwater, presumed to feed on fish, squid, and crustaceans similar to its P. bailloni relatives, yet lacks specific dietary studies.
Habitat
Bannerman's Shearwater occupies marine environments, preferring the open waters of the pelagic zone yet also frequenting proximities of breeding colonies on oceanic islands and rocky islets. Its nesting sites are commonly on cliffs and sloped terrains with minimal vegetation. Additionally, bannerman's Shearwater adapts to nesting within rock crevices and constructing burrows. These areas combine to support their nesting and foraging activities essential for survival.
