  Orange-spotted Bulbul primarily feeds on fruit, exhibiting frugivorous feeding habits. It forages for food mainly in foliage and occasionally on the ground, preferring areas with a dense canopy. This bird shows particular favor for certain berries and small fruits, tailored by its evolved feeding technique. 
    Habitat 
  The orange-spotted Bulbul primarily inhabits forest fringes, especially surrounding primary forests, as well as dense secondary growth and scrub areas. They are also found in elfin forests near mountain summits. Their preferred nesting sites are within or at the periphery of primary or secondary forests, including in shrubby clearings.
