  The olive-winged bulbul (Pycnonotus plumosus) is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is found in south-eastern Asia and the Greater Sunda Islands. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

    Habitat

The species thrives in disturbed areas, including plantations reverting to secondary forest and shrubby grasslands. Although olive-winged Bulbul tends to avoid urban parks and gardens, it inhabits lowlands and is occasionally found at elevations up to 800 meters, extending to 1300 meters in certain regions.
