  Feeding Habits
Sulphur-winged Parakeet primarily consume seeds and fruits, exhibiting typical parakeet foraging behaviors. They have adapted to exploit these resources through agile movement in trees during feeding. Unique dietary preferences include a fondness for certain local fruits.
    Habitat
Sulphur-winged Parakeet predominantly inhabit broken mountainous regions. These birds are found in various types of woodland environments, both primary and those that have undergone logging. They are adapted to live on the edge of forests and make use of nearby shrubbery and secondary growth areas. There is also a marked preference for partly cleared pasturelands within their range. Geographically, they thrive at elevations ranging from 700 to 3000 meters above sea level.
