Description
The thick-billed lark (Ramphocoris clotbey) or Clotbey lark is a species of lark in the family Alaudidae.

Feeding Habits
Thick-billed Lark consumes a mix of seeds, invertebrates, green plant material, and occasionally a small lizard. It forages alone or in small groups, employing tactics such as pulling branches down and digging. Though its need for water is uncertain, it is seen at watering sites.
Habitat
The habitat of thick-billed Lark encompasses the margins of deserts characterized by annual rainfall not exceeding 200 mm. Predominantly found on flat or gently undulating stony or compact soils, these birds occupy terrains ranging from open steppes to arid regions with diverse vegetation such as Artemisia shrubs and succulent plants, as well as sparsely vegetated zones.
