 General Info

 Behavior
Acuminate horseshoe bat is a nocturnal species, actively hunting insects during the night via echolocation. This bat is solitary outside of breeding season, exhibiting loner tendencies. It not only exhibits territorial behavior but also demonstrates fidelity to certain sites, returning to these regularly. Its unique ambient temperature acclimation aids its survival in its habitat.
   Species Status
It is currently evaluated as least concern by the IUCN—its lowest conservation priority. It meets the criteria for this assessment because it is a widespread species considered locally common. Its range includes protected areas. It lacks major threats, although cave disturbance by humans is a local threat.
