Description
The grey bush chat (Saxicola ferreus) is a species of passerine bird in the family Muscicapidae. It is found in the Himalayas, southern China, Taiwan, Nepal and mainland Southeast Asia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Habitat

These birds are found near grassy knolls, forest edges, and adapt to human-modified landscapes, including agricultural lands and gardens. They breed in mountainous regions at 1500 to 3300 meters and winter up to 2400 meters, often in habitats with hedgerows and bamboo.
