Feeding Habits
Barbuda Warbler chiefly consumes small invertebrates. It forages actively in shrubbery, adeptly gleaning prey from foliage. This warbler exhibits a dietary preference for insects and is adapted for skilled, agile hunting among dense vegetation.
Habitat
The barbuda Warbler is typically found in xeric scrub and dry forest habitats, particularly within the terrestrial ecoregion NT0220. Despite a wide habitat distribution on its home island, it favors areas of degraded vegetation around human settlements, as well as the more arid southern parts. However, its presence has declined in mangroves and dense coastal thickets. Data from systematic surveys comparing habitat preferences and population distribution remain limited.
