Description
The olivaceous piha (Snowornis cryptolophus) is a species of bird in the family Cotingidae. It is found in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. In regard to population density and range this species is not considered vulnerable.

Habitat
Olivaceous Piha is typically found in the humid montane forests of subtropical and tropical regions. Preferring moist environments, this bird inhabits the under- and midstory layers of its forested habitat, thriving amidst dense vegetation where it is well-adapted to the unique forest microclimate.
