  Feeding Habits
The diet of spot-necked Babbler consists mainly of small beetles and spiders. They forage in pairs or groups and engage in mixed-species flocks with other babblers. Adapted to feeding in low undergrowth and sometimes on the ground, spot-necked Babbler showcases shy, elusive behavior.
    Habitat
The spot-necked Babbler primarily dwells in the understory of broadleaf evergreen forests, with a preference for areas that include dense bamboo thickets, secondary regrowth, and scrub vegetation. It is native to the broader regions of Southeast Asia, inhabiting these various habitats across a range of lowland to montane elevations, thus favoring a diversity of dense, moist, and forested environments.
