Description
The Malabar starling (Sturnia blythii) is a species of starling found in southwestern India. It was previously considered a subspecies of the chestnut-tailed starling.
Feeding Habits
Malabar Starling consumes a varied diet including insects like caterpillars and beetles, seeds, fruits, nectar, and possibly pollen. Highly arboreal, malabar Starling forages with agility, often in groups, adept at gleaning insects from flowers and can feed on the ground.
