Description
The golden parrotbill (Suthora verreauxi) is a species of parrotbill in the family Sylviidae. It is found in China, Laos, Myanmar, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Its scientific name commemorates French ornithologist and collector Jules Verreaux.

Feeding Habits
Golden Parrotbill's diet consists of larvae, small beetles, and seeds, often foraging in pairs or small groups and sometimes joining mixed flocks with laughingthrushes for feeding.
Habitat
The golden Parrotbill occupies habitats such as the margins of broadleaf evergreen forests and areas within hemlock forests where Arundinaria bamboo is prevalent. This species is native to Southeast Asia, typically inhabiting bamboo-rich regions that form part of or are adjacent to temperate forest ecosystems.
