Description
The yellow-browed tit (Sylviparus modestus) is a species of bird in the family Paridae. It is placed in the monotypic genus Sylviparus. It is found in the southern Himalayas, Northeast India and southern China with smaller amounts in Southeast Asia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Feeding Habits
Yellow-browed Tit predominantly consumes small invertebrates, larvae, and some seeds. It forages alone or in mixed-species groups, often in the higher strata of forests and tall bushes with agile, leaf-warbler-like movements.
Habitat
Yellow-browed Tit primarily inhabits temperate montane and submontane forests characterized by a mix of oak, rhododendron, and other mixed forests. These regions typically feature mossy forests with abundant epiphytes and shrubs along the tree line. Additionally, yellow-browed Tit can be found in thickets of willow and orchards of apricot, as well as forests composed of spruce, fir, and rhododendron. Outside the breeding season, yellow-browed Tit also occupies deciduous and evergreen forests, hillside bushes, and large gardens, generally at lower elevations.
