Description
The grey-bellied tesia (Tesia cyaniventer) is a species of warbler in the family Cettiidae. It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Grey-bellied Tesia's diet primarily includes small invertebrates like ants and spiders. This active forager searches for food on the ground and in vegetation, sometimes joining mixed-species flocks outside the breeding season.
Habitat
The grey-bellied Tesia inhabits the dense undergrowth of broadleaf forests, often amid ferns, nettles, and dwarf bamboo in areas characterized by high moisture such as misty valleys and wet ravines, generally near streams. During the non-breeding season, grey-bellied Tesia can be found in both primary and secondary broadleaf forests at lower altitudes, indicating a preference for lush, vegetated environments.
