Description
The grey-breasted seedsnipe (Thinocorus orbignyianus) is a species of bird in the Thinocoridae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru. Its natural habitats are temperate grassland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, and swamps.

Grey-breasted Seedsnipe primarily consumes buds and leaf tips from herbs and succulent plants. Typically forages in pairs or small family groups.
Habitat

Grey-breasted Seedsnipe also inhabits areas with bunch-grass steppe and is often found near highland bogs with adjacent short grass.
