Description
The Malayan laughingthrush (Trochalopteron peninsulae) is a species of laughingthrush that was for some time included as a subspecies of the Trochalopteron erythrocephalum. This species is found in the extreme southern Thailand and peninsular Malaysia.

Malayan Laughingthrush primarily eats insects like beetles and grubs, supplementing its diet with seeds. Often found foraging in small groups on or near the ground, malayan Laughingthrush may also search for food in trees.
Habitat
