Description
The white-faced cuckoo-dove (Turacoena manadensis), also known as the white-faced dove, is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. It is endemic to Sulawesi and the Togian Islands in Indonesia. The Sula cuckoo-dove was previously considered conspecific.

Feeding Habits
White-faced Cuckoo-dove primarily consumes a variety of fruits and berries, including Lantana camara fruits and small orange figs. They forage in the subcanopy, and are known to feed on garden papayas. Recorded diets are exclusively frugivorous, comprising ten fruit species from six families.
Habitat
The white-faced Cuckoo-dove typically resides in wooded gorges and dense woodland areas situated in relatively open terrain. These environments often feature a mix of natural and occasionally agricultural landscapes at lowland elevations. The species is generally observed alone or in pairs, primarily occupying the subcanopy layer of its habitat.
