Description
Taiwan Blue Magpies are rather large birds that forage in small flocks, their long, bright tails very visible while gliding from tree to tree. They function as family units (much like humans) with older siblings actually helping to feed the younger chicks. These gregarious birds are quite vocal, giving loud sharp raspy calls much like other types of magpies.
