Description
The yellow-browed shrike-vireo (Vireolanius eximius) is a species of bird in the family Vireonidae. It is found in Colombia and adjacent areas of Panama and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

Habitat
Yellow-browed Shrike-vireo thrives in the dense upper layers of humid tropical forests and flourishes within the canopies of tall secondary-growth woodlands. This species prefers lower montane regions, frequently occupying elevations ranging from 100 to 800 meters. However, yellow-browed Shrike-vireo is known to reside at much higher altitudes in the Perijá Mountains, ascending up to 1500 meters in Colombia and occasionally reaching 1700 meters in neighboring Venezuela.
